Considering the developmental characteristics of our students, we believe that sports and physical education lessons have a very important place in their personal and social development as individuals with a healthy, happy and balanced personality.
The main purpose of the physical education classes is to help our students to develop mind-body integrity, nerve-muscle and joint coordination, to raise awareness of the health benefits of sports throughout life, to develop the ability to act in cooperation and team spirit, to gain the habit of acting according to the rules and to reinforce their sense of trust.
The basic condition for success in sports is to gain sports awareness at a young age, to discover and develop skills through correct guidance and training. With this awareness, we work to make our students gain the habit of doing sports in primary school age, and we direct them to various sports branches and school teams in line with their abilities.
Our school provides the opportunity to work with experienced teachers in its modern facilities in order to give its students the habit of doing sports properly. In our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades, two hours of physical education per week are given alternately. For this purpose, swimming, basketball, volleyball and table tennis branches are studied in our school in the field of physical education and sports as of 4th grade.
In the lessons, the sports branches in which our students are successful in line with their interests and abilities are determined, and the opportunity to work with expert trainers in that branch is offered during school and outside school hours.
