Our main goal is to discover and develop the creativity and talent of our students in our lessons where we act with the idea that "every child has a unique potential". In TED Çorlu College, we provide the free environment required to satisfy the innate impulse of creating with the music that exists in every stage of our lives.
Music lessons are taught with the Orff Approach in the first grades. While the Orff Approach provides basic music education, it aims for the student to learn music in a completely natural way by using the materials they are accustomed to. Our education on solfege and bona starts with basic music concepts in 4th and 3rd grades. This education is given by drawing, painting, cutting, pasting and entertaining the student without detaching him from the game, which is his natural environment. The process is completed with solfege exercises, simple canon exercises and musical culture acquisition. In preparation for instrument training in the 4th grade, our music teachers observe our students until the end of the 3rd grade and determine an instrument considering the interests, desires and physical characteristics of the student. As of the 5th grade, each student chooses an instrument considering rhythm, musical sensation and physical characteristics (finger structure, hand size, etc.). If our students play an instrument outside of school, it is generally recommended that they attend that instrument at school.
