English language education in TED Çorlu College is carried out in line with the K12-integrated TED-specific English curriculum, which is prepared on the basis of the European Common Languages Framework Program and applied in all TED Schools.
We aim to ensure that our students achieve the best in communication processes in all foreign language proficiency criteria such as listening, reading, conversation, oral and written expression, with intensive English and 2nd foreign language training associated with the most appropriate curriculum.
Our students will be able to communicate effectively with foreigners they encounter at the CEF B1 PLUS language level within the framework of European Union standards, both in writing and verbally, to develop their self-confidence through written, oral and visual presentations on national and international platforms, by following the works of art such as literature, music, theater and cinema written in English. We aim to make them enjoy it and associate their language acquisitions with real life. For this purpose, we support the education of our students with international textbooks and innovative educational technologies with 'Skills' lessons, 'Active Learn Online Platform', 'Role Play Skills' and debates conducted with native speakers of English.
We aim to ensure that our students are successful in international exams such as TOEFL, Cambridge ESOL Young Learners, KET, PET, FCE, IELTS, that they can easily pass the preparatory exemption exams of the universities they have been accepted in the country after graduation, and that they can show proficiency in all the international exams required to study abroad.
Based on the idea that the best way to improve the language learned is by living that language, learning different cultures, different people and different lifestyles, we encourage our students to participate in online projects, correspondence, competitions, summer language schools, international trips and international projects at TED Çorlu College.
TED Çorlu College middle school students can participate in monthly exchange programs in Canada within the scope of the "International Student Exchange Protocols" carried out by TED Schools with relevant institutions and organizations, and have the opportunity to expand their visions by meeting with people from different cultures.
