Art activities at an early age support the healthy development of children in many areas. The fact that art serves basic skills such as activating both sides of our brain mentally, increasing both concentration and awareness of individuals towards themselves and their environment shapes the content of the art education program we apply. Our students start with activities that support fine motor development, which is the most basic skill layer of visual arts, and regularly spend two hours a week in the painting and ceramics workshop. In addition to the curriculum determined by our visual arts department, they enrich their products with interdisciplinary studies with other courses.
In the visual arts activity implemented in our kindergarten, national and universal artists and their important works are introduced, and information about today's art and artist is given. In the light of this information, children are provided with the opportunity to create original products. All work done throughout the year is displayed on school boards.
