Music is the cheerfulness, spirit, pleasure, and everything of life.
In music courses, a special program is applied that covers basic music information, musical culture and instrument/branch education (violin, guitar, piano) together with the curriculum subjects of the Ministry of National Education.
Music courses are taught according to the principle of “active learning and practice”. The method not only provides information to the student, but also enables the student to develop their abilities and social relations. Question-answer, practice, observation, discussion, lecture, problem solving and animation methods are applied in our courses.
Purpose of music courses;
• to raise individuals who listen to music with understanding, who have a conscious and aesthetic point of view,
• to raise individuals with musical equipment who can analyze, synthesize and evaluate,
• to enable students to express themselves with their speaking, playing and creating skills,
• to help increase the knowledge level of students with theoretical music knowledge,
• to help students get to know themselves and their environment through music,
• to provide students with a cultural and historical perspective to evaluate national and international musical works.
