The main aim of our Mathematics Department is to enable our students to become individuals who develop a positive attitude towards mathematics and have self-confidence, not afraid of making mistakes, not afraid of working and trying, have acquired mathematical thinking skills, can use mathematics in modeling and problem solving, research and question, can express themselves well in the field of mathematics in national and international exams and competitions.
With the Mathematics Course Curriculum prepared on the basis of the General Objectives of the Turkish National Education and the Basic Principles of the Turkish National Education expressed in Article 2 of the Basic Law of National Education No. 1739, It is aimed the students;
• to develope problem-solving skills by looking at problems from different perspectives,
• to gain mathematical thinking and application skills,
• to use mathematics correctly, effectively and beneficially,
