Biology is the science that studies the interactions of all living things with each other and with the environment, and the causes and consequences of these interactions. Biological science uses scientific methods to reach knowledge. In the biology course, necessary environments are prepared for students to apply their theoretical knowledge and research by practice, and students are provided to conduct experiments.
The main purpose of our biology courses is to enable our students;
• to gain the habit of finding solutions to the problems they encounter with a scientific approach, to gain awareness of healthy living,
• to ensure that they can live in harmony with other living things in their habitat and without harming them,
• to enable them to have basic knowledge and skills about biology,
• to enable them to be individuals who research and question in order to reach information,
• to enable them to be individuals who can look at life and the future with hope and who do not lose their self-confidence under all conditions and conditions,
• to enable them to exist in the society they live in by combining their knowledge and skills with productivity,
• to enable them to use the basic information they receive in their daily life and to transfer them to new situations they encounter.
